About me
Synergy in Motion: Restore, Ground and Align
With over 18 years of experience, my work is rooted in a deep exploration of the human body and how it moves. Over the years I have studied the full spectrum of Pilates, from the rigorous precision of Classical Pilates to the creative adaptability of Contemporary Pilates. Today, I bring these approaches together with a modern understanding of biomechanics and movement.
I believe that how we move is how we live. Tension in the body can lead to poor movement patterns, reduced mobility, altered posture and, over time, chronic pain or discomfort.
Biomechanics helps us understand the why behind muscle tightness, imbalance and strain, so that we can address the root cause rather than only the symptoms.
I also integrate breathwork and neuroplasticity-based principles to help restore healthier movement patterns, support balance in the body, and encourage a calmer, more positive mindset.
My qualifications
I hold a 450-hour Contemporary Pilates certification with Pilates Foundation and a 900-hour Classical Comprehensive qualification with Allison Goodman at Pilates Nation. This means I am fully trained in the complete system of original equipment and mat work developed by Joseph Pilates.
I blend this technical foundation with the Fletcher technique to create a bespoke and thoughtful approach for each client. I am also studying biomechanics through the Conor Harris approach to postural restoration and movement.
Who I work with
I work with people who want to improve posture, move with greater ease, reduce tension, build strength and feel more grounded in their bodies – whether they are complete beginners or already experienced in Pilates.
